Here's a few pictures of the car now that it's here
in Toronto and I've had a chance to detail
it up a bit since arriving June 26th. 2001.

Here's the TFX International Carrier with the Opel after
clearing customs in Mississauga at Inter-Port, June 26th.
This company along with the seller, Luc of Parijs Classic Cars
back in Belgium made this a very uncomplicated purchase,
and I would do it again.

Wow a lot of truck and trailer for such a little car.

Home at last! All snuggled in next to our other GM product.

Here's a hint to why I bought this car in the beginning. You
see I'm an MG nut, yet MG's don't have a back seat. Yes I
even had an MGB/GT, but just didn't work, too bad as it was
a mint '74. Anyway as you can see in this picture we have
a child and his special seat has to be the first modification I
did to this Opel. It was very easy as to my surprise there was
already seat-belt anchors mounted in the rear sub-frame, so
bada bing bada boom, baby has got more room.

This is a 1972 Kadett B 1100N 2-DR sedan. I've now added
the Opel Kadett Rallye satin black paint theme (August 4, 2001)
to the hood and side window area, along with the lower rockers.
I Then added red stripes to play off of the red interior.

I even added my companies web addy to the windshield,
as I'll be taking this little gem to various car shows around
Ontario, and figured what a great promotional car.

From the side you can see how the satin black theme works.
And the red stripes and those Rostyle Wheels, now with
Michelin MX IV Rainforces, chrome nuts and center caps.

A grocery getter needs a good sized trunk, which this has and
on it's first road trip to Brighton didn't even get filled to capacity,
which included support tools, and tons of baby gear for Lewis.

The engine bay all cleaned up with the black paint theme
even carried throughout this area. While on that road trip
this little engine carried the car along easily at 110 kmph
at 4000 rpm and did 400 kilometers on only 14 dollars of
gas, which translates into aproximately 40mpg..WOW!

Not so spartan anymore as I have added
the Rallye steering wheel and a walnut shift knob,
and a factory tach mounted in the dash to the right
of the speedo. Oh that red button, it's for the rear
bumper mounted Hella fog lamp, very Euro!
